Medicare Strategy & Program Development Director - PS6861

The Strategy & Program Development Director will drive Medicare Growth in Niche language markets including Asian, Hispanic and other opportunities identified across the West Region and the country. This leader will work with the Network to ensure we have the correct network providers to service these populations. This role will be responsible for identifying, implementing and ensuring optimal execution in all Medicare niche language opportunities.

Responsible for coordinating the relationship of the business unit with internal partners to ensure growth and compliance.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

•Monitor related legislation and advises senior management relative to compliance

•Research new ventures and prospective revenue expansion opportunities

•Ensure we have to optimal network providers to optimize language niche opportunities

•Work with sales and marketing to develop sales and marketing plans with the providers and the brokers to set up optimal marketing, distribution and sales

•Work with Sales teams (both internal and external brokers) to ensure we have the optimal distribution teams in place to optimize sales

•Work with internal service operations to ensure we have in language customer service agents ready and able to service this population

•Assists in creating company's strategic and annual plans

•Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; MBA preferred

•10 years of related strategic planning, project and program management experience in the managed care industry with knowledge and experience in the Medicare products and services;

•5 years of experience in a senior management position required

•5 years of experience in identifying, implementing and optimizing similar in language niche opportunities required

•Experience in Medicare sales and account mgmt. required.

•Prefer license to sell Medicare and Med Supp. products

•Substantial travel 50% or more is required for this position
