Product Manager – Automotive and Autonomous Driving

We are the market share leader for image sensors in the traditional automotive market, and we are engaging both traditional automotive customers as well as alternative transportation-as-a-service companies.
The Product Manager is the “owner” of all aspects of the product from concept to end-of-life. This person defines new product ideas using their knowledge of market dynamics, customer needs, technology readiness and corporate execution ability to define the right products to meet business objectives. This is a customer-facing role where you build relationships with executives and technical leaders in customer and partner companies.
Engaging customers and ourown field staff to collect customer and market requirements
Defining new products andinternal processes for the automotive image sensor and development systemproduct lines (product requirements, business case, competitive outlook, earlysample execution)
Managing core aspects ofproduct for the full life cycle (definition to end-of-life) – targetapplications, core value proposition, pricing, market opportunity
Teaming with the field staffto drive and support Design In and Design Win pursuit activity (directing fieldwhere product fits, driving internal response to RFI/RFQ’s, providing pricingand terms that can be offered in specific customer negotiations to close adeal)
Teaming with other productmanagers to ensure new products fit into overall Product Line
Teaming with TechnicalMarketing and Go-to-Market managers to align outbound marketing and field salestools with business plan for the product
Possibilities for publicactivities such as acting as product spokesperson with press & analysts aswell as public speaking at industry events
Global role with domesticand international travel
2-5 years of experience inproduct management for technical products (hw or sw) with examples of productsthat have gone through definition, development and production release
Analytical skills formodeling decisions where trade-offs can be quantified
Ability and judgement toprioritize activity to achieve overall goals in fast-paced environment
An “ownership” mind setwhere you feel responsible for the overall success of the product
BS in a technical field ordemonstrated work experience
Must have right to work inUnited States
