CSRA is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Lead. The Cybersecurity Lead shall perform as the cybersecurity subject matter expert and advisor to DMDC cybersecurity officials. The Cybersecurity Lead is responsible for leading compliance activities, maintaining security compliance documentation, and performing security patch management to include maintaining STIG compliance.
The Defense Manpower Database Center (DMDC) supports major programs and initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD) and maintains the largest archive of personnel, manpower, training, security and financial data within the DoD. The scope of this effort, Enterprise Management Information Technology Services (EMITS), is to provide a full range of Information Technology (IT) related services and technical solutions. This effort will provide support to DMDC to consolidate legacy data centers into a single operational and fail-over site as well as streamline its functions in support of its future operations. Lastly, the contractor shall remain abreast of emerging technologies in the marketplace and recommend changes, modifications, and upgrades and industry best practices. Overall Program tasks are expected to include: (1) Provide Program Management; (2) Provide Transition Support (3) Policy, Procedures, and Operations Support; (4) IT Core Services Support; (5) Customer Services Support; and (6) Transformational IT Support.
Perform as the cybersecurity subject matter expert and advisor to DMDC cybersecurity officials;
Be responsible for leading compliance activities, maintaining security compliance documentation, and performing security patch management to include maintaining STIG compliance.
Experience leading DoD risk management activities including implementation of risk management frameworks.
Demonstrated experience leading compliance activities, security patching, compiling RMF documentation, achieving ATOs of a year or longer in duration, developing and maintaining Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs).
Experience briefing and presenting to senior organizational managers.
Minimum Certifications: One DoDI 8570.01 Level III certification (IAM III, CISSP).
Minimum 15 years IT experience.
Minimum 5 years supporting large-scale security services.
Minimum education is BS/BA; however MS/MA is desirable.
Clearance required: DoD Secret
It is highly desirable that the Cybersecurity Lead have the following qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in securing large PII data holdings across multiple types of security boundaries in both NIPR and SIPR environments.
Experience in working accreditations and certifications that cross multiple DoD organizations.
Desirable Cybersecurity Lead Certifications: One or more cybersecurity related technology certifications.
